At The Storehouse Food Mission, we have 3 objectives: to provide food for those in need, to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ, and to bring comfort and encouragement.
We provide 3-5 days of nutritious food to needy persons one time each month. All clients are screened through picture ID and proof of residence; and we keep track of them in a database. We spend time with each person at every visit to listen, to encourage, and to pray with them if they so desire.
Volunteers may do data entry or administrative duties, counsel with clients, help the clients with food selection and carry out their groceries, or help with sorting the food for quality and shelving it.
Hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mission Statement
We provide meat, produce, dairy, bread, and pastries, enough to feed any size family. We encourage our clients to select the foods they like. The Storehouse welcomes anyone with a need, no matter where they live. Each time you visit, you will be greeted by a volunteer encourager, who will spend a few minutes with you to see if there's anything else we can do for you. You will be offered an opportunity to pray, but no one is ever required to pray to receive our help.
Description
A need for The Storehouse remains constant because of 3 people groups: elderly on fixed incomes, single-parent families, and people in crisis and emergency situations.
