Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
Manna Food Pantry is a client based pantry that lets the clients shop for their food rather than getting a bag that was aready packed. We try to provide as much fresh vegtables, and friuts as we can, and we have a kids program called PowerPack, which lets the Children get good heathy food every week, and the Adults can shop once a month.
We welcome anyone who might be interested in volunteering once a month. Hours are 4 pm. to 8 pm. If you are working, we ask that you be here before 5:30 pm., if possible.
