Monte pays close attention to his leader while helping a child with special needs.

Put your heart and your horsemanship skills together to change lives with Envision.

Horse handlers have prior experience handling, grooming, tacking, leading, feeding, and ground exercising horses. Envision's team of horse handlers take extraordinary care of the therapy horses. Horse handlers get horses ready for therapeutic riding classes, lead in class, and take care of them after class. They are the horse's guide, support, advocate, and caregiver. The horse handler uses his/her experience working with different horses in different situations, and ability to read the horse and the environment, to make safe choices and give the horse confidence. Would you like to make therapeutic riding possible for people with special needs? This is a great opportunity for someone who loves horses and has done horse ranch work in the role of groom, stable hand, trainer's assistant, barn manager or has shown halter showmanship in the past, rehabilitated rescues, or provided complete care for layups. Reliable attendance is a must.
