Our growing kitty rescue is seeking friendly folks to help us show cats at our adoption fairs. It's a great feeling to see a homeless kitty go to a carefully screened, loving home. Fairs will generally be held the 3rd weekend of each month at Pet Food Express in Alameda.
Please note:* We seek volunteers who anticipate being available for at least six months.
* We are unable to accept volunteers seeking to fulfill community service hours.
* Minors under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Mission Statement
Maine Coon Adoptions is an all volunteer cat rescue group that rescues, fosters and adopts Maine Coon mix cats to carefully screened families. We also take in many cats that are not Maine Coons and many cats that are older and harder to adopt.
Description
We are a growing, vibrant, active and all volunteer cat rescue group that rescues and adopts over 230 cats a year to carefully screened families. While we have a particular love for Maine Coon mixes, we love and rescue as many kitties as we can - be they Maine Coon or not - and take in many older and harder to adopt kitties..
