Historic Laurel Hill Cemetery is leading the way in initiatives to encourage the public to use rural cemeteries as they were originally intended: as an environmental space for both the living and the dead. Each year our calendar of programs continues to grow and with it the need for volunteers to help pull off our various events during the months of April-October.
Opportunities include event execution logistics, parking, registration, and giving out refreshments at some of our larger events this summer and fall. Please visit our website at https://thelaurelhillcemetery.org/support/volunteer to view all the exiciting opportunities for this fall!
Special Events Volunteers receive 10% off our gift shop the day they volunteer and the ability to enjoy the event for free after their duties are completed. Other incentives may be available on an event-by-event basis.
Historic Laurel Hill Cemetery is operated by the Not-for-profit 501 (c) 3, The Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery. Enjoy the beauty and fun of this amazing Philadelphia treasure while giving back to the community and supporting the organization that makes it all happen!
