ORGANIZATION: CEAP - Community Emergency Assistance Programs

Have you been searching for a volunteer opportunity that takes place on the weekend that you can do with your whole family? Are you passionate about making sure that your neighbors-in-need have food on their tables?

CEAP’s Feed the Need is a food drive at local grocers to raise food and funds to help stock our shelves. CEAP will be at nine grocery store locations on Saturday, March 24th from 10am to 3pm accepting non-perishable food item and cash donations. Please help us make our presence known at these stores, and encourage shoppers to purchase additional items to donate to their local food shelf. This volunteer opportunity is great for groups and for youth volunteers! Shifts are either 10am to 12:30pm or 12:30pm to 3pm. We can find the location most convenient for you.

CEAP will accept all donations but the most needed items include those for the pantry: pasta, rice, cereal, sugar, flour, oil, and other baking goods.

We are currently looking for volunteers for stores in Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Maple Grove, and Blaine.
