Sojourner Center is seeking energectic and passionate individuals that are interested in supporting children in our Kid's Care Program. We provide a fun enviroment for mothers to drop their children off at while they attend classes that focus on healing and overcoming the impacts of domestic violence.
Volunteers play games, completes arts and crafts, read books, and any other fun activity trageted towards 1 to 12 years in the Kid's Care Program.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to support on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Volunteers must attend an infomrational tour of Sojourner Center as well as a Volunteer Oirentation. Volunteers are also required to hold a DPS Fingerprint Clearence Card and pass a mandatory background check.

Domestic Violence Shelter
We are seeking Volunteers to support us in various areas of our shelter by donating their time and talents. We recognize the impact of domestic violence cannot be overcome without community collaboration and therefore we proudly operate a "shelter the community built". Domestic violence affects every person in our society and you can do something to help those in need.
