Come be a part of something big and put smiles on the faces of our residents experiencing homelessness by serving a tasty meal!
We are looking for a group (4-7people) to cook a meal off-site and come serve a hot, delicious, home cooked meal at our homeless shelter.
We are not licensed to cook anything from scratch so we rely heavily on donated food which we then reheat and serve to our residents.
Stepping Stone serves 66 youth and adults 18 and older and they really look forward to groups coming in with a special meal made with love because it is meaningful and different from what they usually receive.
The cafeteria at Stepping Stone has been renovated and is a beautiful space to enjoy dinner as a community.
We provide 3 meals a day and would love to have you join us to help provide a hot meal and converse with our homeless adults here at Stepping Stone!

Description
Stepping Stone Emergency Housing (SSEH) is the only homeless shelter for adults in Anoka County. SSEH is a 60 bed facility for both men and women over 18. In addition to housing, SSEH also offers educational programming and case management to help provide skills and services to guests as they strive to find permanent housing and become self-sufficent.
