You can make a difference in the life of a child!
The Children’s Program at American Family Housing is in need of families or volunteer/service groups to throw a monthly birthday party for our kids.
Many of our children have never had a birthday celebration, received gifts, or been sung "Happy Birthday" before. The parties take place at our location on the 4th Monday of each month from 5:30- 8:00pm. Your group would decorate, plan games and activities, bring cake or treats, and provide small gifts for the birthday children (usually around 3-5 kids each month). Expect approximately 30 kids to attend.
