People Mover returning to Visitor Center

Meet visitors from all over the world, learn about early Minnesota history, and enjoy being outdoors from spring to fall. Drive a "people mover" golf cart between the parking lot and the historic fort to provide easier access to Historic Fort Snelling visitors.

Attend a required training session on Monday morning, May 18 or Wednesday morning, June 10. Commit to an every other week shift or a weekly shift of approximately four hours on Saturdays or Sundays from spring through autumn.

A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.

The Minnesota History Center is home to vast collections of artifacts such as photos, letters, maps, books, state records, battle flags, paintings, Prince's suit from Purple Rain, and so much more. MNHS preserves its collections and historic sites and works for future generations.

Sharing

MNHS shares resources, collections, and knowledge of history through its sites, programs, exhibits, library, websites, and publications. We encourage the public to share their knowledge, feedback, and experiences with us to improve our services to the community.

Connecting

MNHS invites the public to explore history through diverse exhibits and programs at 26 historic sites and museums.
