Hospice Community Care, Glen Allen, Virginia is in need of clerical volunteers to assist with the day-to-day operation of the hospice. Clerical volunteers will serve as a receptionist to answer a multi-line phone and greet guests and make copies when needed. This is an ideal opportunity for people who are in between jobs, retired or those who want to get out of the house for a few hours a day. Experience is not a requirement, we will teach you!
Clerical volunteers must understand that whatever he/she hears and sees during to course of a day is to be kept in strict confidence and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Clerical volunteers work a very flexible schedule and are an integral part of Hospice Community Care's day-to-day operation.

Description
Hospice Community Care has been providing excellent end-of-life services for Richmond area residents and their families since 2004.
Hospice Community Care uses an interdisciplinary team approach to provide quality hospice services to patients and families throughout our service area. Hospice Community Care has become the hospice provider of choice because of our reputation for impeccable customer service, friendly, knowledgeable and comforting staff, and unique delivery methods that meet the medical, physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of our patients and their loved ones.
It would be impossible to meet all of the needs of our patients and their loved ones were it not for our exemplary volunteers who donate hundreds of hours of their gift of time every year. We have several exciting opportunities to offer people who are considering volunteering with hospice.
Volunteers must have a current driver's license and auto insurance as well as a clean driving records. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. We will train you for the volunteer position that best suits you.
