We are in need of members of the community to join a newly formed "Friends of Governor Bacon" volunteer group which will begin to organize small fundraisers such as bake & chili sales and operate a gift cart for residents, staff and visitors. All proceeds from the fund-raising efforts will directly benefit the residents of the long-term care facility. The Friends group will raise funds for resident trips to local baseball games, movie trips and other fun outings. We need your help to make a huge difference in the lives of the residents who may otherwise not be able to afford these activities.

Description
The Governor Bacon Health Center (GBHC) is located along the Delaware River in Delaware City, Delaware. This 292-acre campus is the center for a 94-bed long term care residential facility which provides intermediate care. It enjoys a reputation for thoughtful, competent care, with full time nursing attention for our residents.
