Heros that Inspire us all to be more Courageous!

BraveHearts for Kids helps save the lives of Children Diagnosed with Cancer. Approximately 15,780 children were diagnosed with Cancer last year. More children die of cancer every year than adults died in 9/11.

We are looking for volunteers to assist in disseminating information about our financial and emotional support programs for Pediatric Cancer victims and their families. The Social Media Outreach Volunteer will work alongside the Outreach Communications Team to increase BraveHearts outreach and visibility on different social media platforms.

They will create posts for various media outlets, share BraveHearts for Kids resources and update other media platforms.

Our consistent outreach is so vital ---Parents of Survivors claim that those first few hours and days after the initial shocking news are the most crucial to making the right decisions, and ironically it's the time when they are the least prepared to do so.

We need people with an hour or more a week that can help reach families in need through social media. A short orientation is required. Work from your own location and set your own schedule.

Mission Statement

Our MISSION is to provide life-saving hope and inspiration to families facing a pediatric cancer ordeal through outreach, mentoring, and connection to resources.

Description

BraveHearts for Kids is recognized as the nation's leading charity connecting families with resources to help them through the nightmare of pediatric cancer. By providing Hope, Inspiration, and connection to resources, we help save children’s lives and support families dealing with Pediatric Cancer through the worst of circumstances.

In 2009, the founders of BraveHearts for Kids started the organization after their baby girl, was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma at the tender age of 13 months. While their daughter ultimately won her battle with cancer, the ordeal created a burning desire to help other families in a similar situation.

The organization continues to grow, and now helps kids fighting cancer, and their families in all of the 48 lower states. Through the help of Volunteers, Donors, and Ambassadors, BraveHearts for Kids provided programs and services to over 3900 families in 2021.
