Heading Home loves to host fundraising events throughout the year to benefit the programs provided by the organization. Committee members assist with the planning and execution of these events. Duties range from designing logos and choosing menus to soliciting sponsorships and collecting auction or raffle items. Feel free to mention special projects you would like to take on as well!
Cutting Out Homelessness is a month-long event which requires a huge amount of volunteers to help coordinate!
Casa Ball Totally 80's raised over $72,000 for Heading Home in 2015! This amazing accomplishment would not have been possible without the help of our Volunteer Committee Members!

Description
We are an Albuquerque based 501c3 non-profit organization, established in 2004. Heading Home is the backbone agency for ABQ Heading Home, a community wide initiative that aims to end chronic homelessness in Albuquerque. Along with our community partners in the for-profit, non-profit, private, public, and political sectors, we are providing permanent, supportive housing solutions to people who are medically vulnerable and are experiencing chronic homelessness. The ABQ Heading Home initiative has housed over 800 individuals since it began in 2011. Head Home also provides emergency shelter each night for 88 adult men experiencing homelessness through the Albuquerque Opportunity Center (AOC).
