The Alzheimer's Association Louisiana Chapter is looking for passionate individuals who are interested in adding their voice in the fight against Alzheimer's. We know that Alzheimer's disease remains one of the most critical public health issues in America. This is why we are unrelentingly advocating for public policy issues and critical research funding. Now is the time to join us. Help persuade Congress to make Alzheimer's disease a national priority.
Our advocates raise important issues and educate elected officials to ensure families facing Alzheimer's are not forgotten by the government. We are looking for volunteers who can:
1. Be community organizers and plan town hall/coffee with Congress events 2. Assist other ambassadors and advocates with composing letters to the editors, reaching out to their assigned reps, and increasing our visibility 3.
