Looking for NYC volunteers to join our monthly meet-ups to help us sew beds and make cat, dog and rabbit toys for shelter animals who are waiting for forever homes at Animal Care Centers of NYC.
All volunteers can make toys, and for those who sew, a skill level is required to make a very basic bed.
Monthly location and times are listed on website under our Volunteer page at www.pillowsforpaws.org.
If you would like to start a group with your own friends, community, etc. please also feel free to reach out.

Mission Statement
Pillows for Paws brings comfort and love to NYC Shelter Animals. Our goal is to improve the lives of shelter animals while they are at the shelter through enrichment, medical, grooming and comfort items and raise awareness to adopt shelter animals and not shop.
Description
Pillows for Paws is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that brings comfort and love to NYC shelter animals. We provide comfort and enrichment items including toys, treats, handmade beds/toys, grooming and medical supplies to NYC shelter animals. We host a monthly circles in which we create handmade beds and toys. We also raise awareness of adoption through Humane Education programs for children and through our RescueMen calendar campaign.
