YMCA Camp Matuacha is Getting ready for camp season and we have many different projects going on. One could be involved with trail maintenance, cleaning, painting, moving supplies, setting up our waterfront area, building new program areas, setting up campfire sites, chopping wood and a variety of other things. Projects will be determined based on the skills of the volunteers.

Description
The Greater Waterbury YMCA is proud to offer two day camps, YMCA Camp Mataucha, and YMCA Camp Oakasha, that are unmatched in customer service, the quality of programs, and most importantly caring and professional staff. Our staff inspire campers to learn and demonstrate positive values such as caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility through positive role modeling and recognizing important "teachable moments". Serving children ages 5 to 15 years of age, everyday is a safe new adventure specifically tailored towards the age of your camper. With activities such as archery, swimming, arts & crafts, boating, field games, nature, hiking, family nights, overnights and more, camp is sure to be a fun memorable experience.
