Make a real difference in someone's life!
Elara Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families. Right now we are looking for individuals and groups to donate items for patients. Donations can be one-time or ongoing.
Can you craft? We are looking for donations of generic birthday cards that can be given to our Hospice patients on their birthdays. We also accept donations of craft kits that a volunteer could work on with a patient during a companionship visit.
Can you knit or sew? Our patients could use any of the following: lap blankets, neck pillows, wheelchair or walker caddies, catheter bags, and hand pillows Share the artistic gift of craft today.
To make arrangements for a craft or drop off donations, please contact Michelle Storey @ 1-517-513-7008 or mstorey@elara.com
