Title of Volunteer Position : Home Delivery Driver


Program Name: Everett Food Bank/ Snohomish County Distribution Center (1230 Broadway, Everett WA 98203)

Goal & Activities : Deliver food to seniors in the Everett area. Pick a route (5 - 10 deliveries per route) and deliver food each week.

Requirements

  • Valid WA Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record (VOA will cover cost of driver's record).

  • Must be able to lift 30+ lbs

  • Adhere to safety requirements

  • Follow proper food handling and storage techniques

  • Comfortable going into clients apartment building activity room and interaction with clients

  • Be an ambassador of Volunteers of America

  • Go through a training period with VOA staff


    Prerequisite Information:
    Attend Volunteer Orientation

    Complete Volunteer Application

    Sign Driver’s Aid Position Description

    Attend driver training

    Timeframe:
    Weekly, Wednesday afternoons
