Purpose/Impact: This is an essential direct-service position that allows us to give survivors the support they need, when they need it most.
Responsibilities include:Providing crisis intervention, emotional support and information and referrals on our 24-hour crisis line
Working 1-on-1 with shelter participants by giving referrals, safety planning, and being a safe person to talk to on a consistent basis
Occasionally opening and closing shelter
Running household errands (buying toilet paper, detergent, kitchen supplies, etc)
- Helping distribute donations to participants
