The goal of the volunteer is to provide administrative support the Program Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Review and organize client files.
- Process monthly administrative reports.
- In collaboration with the Program Administrator develop outreach material to reach potential clients
- In collaboration with the Program Administrator develop documents, brochures, informational pieces that help clients navigate through the Refugee Resettlement Services
Supervision: The volunteer reports to Program Administrator
Qualifications:
- Volunteer needs to be minimally bilingual (Spanish/English or Creole/English). Fluency is required in reading, speaking, writing, and listening.
- Dedicated to quality service.
- Good customer service skills.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Computer basic skills (Word, Power Point)
- Is able to follow through with Volunteer commitment.
Training: Background Screening, Protecting God’s Children Training, Agency training, and then program on-the-job training will take place.
Time Required: This position requires a minimum of 2 hours per scheduled work day.
Scheduling: This position is available Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

Description
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach was established in 1984 as the social service arm of the Palm Beach Diocese. The agency serves on average each year more than 9,000 unduplicated clients throughout the Palm Beach Diocese which includes the counties of Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Indiantown, Martin and Okeechobee. Catholic Charities currently provides services through 12 programs and ministries.
The services of Catholic Charities are available to all residents of the service area who qualify for the particular program. The priority is to serve the poorest and most vulnerable. As the specific needs of the community change and the population rises, the services offered by Catholic Charities also change in response to those needs. Catholic Charities does not discriminate based on a client’s religion, nor on any other classification protected under applicable federal, state or local discrimination law.
