Our partner school in Carthage, Tunisia is looking for a school director, elementary teacher and pre-school teacher. This thriving educational community educates children from all over the world, with a vision of educating youth using a historic worldview through a rigorous classical curriculum. Their goal is to train ethical leaders and global thinkers who will shape the culture around them. The school adheres to the Bible’s teaching as the foundation of their curriculum.

The Administrative Director position would do the following:

• Work with the Director of Teachers and Curriculum
• Communicate with internal and external constituents
• Supervise and create the logistics for day-to-day operations
• Provide support and accountability to teachers,
• Create and maintain school schedule
• Assist with finances,
• Oversee special events
• Research and development for board presentations
• Substitute teaching
• Coordinate student supervision

Elementary and Pre-school teachers would do the following:

• Teach core subjects of Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Spelling), Mathematics, Religious Education (Bible), Science and Social Studies (Elementary); provide half-day immersion class in English using Starfall curriculum (Pre-School)
• In the absence of specialists to teach Music, Art and/or Physical Education, you may be asked to incorporate some element of these into your weekly classroom program.
• Maintain current records of student progress and communicate with parents.
• Participate in annual parent-teacher conferences. Meet with parents for additional conferences as needed.
