Small Miracles Therapeutic Equestrian Center Inc. offers unique opportunities to Volunteer through Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies, empowering the Special Needs Community to reach their potential and engage in life to the fullest. Small Miracles has served the Greater Kingsport, N.E. TN and SWVA areas since 1995, and is a United Way of Greater Kingsport Agency.
Small Miracles is an approved Agency providing Community Service hours to High School Students for scholarships along with social skills, and work readiness - college bounds skills required to be successful in life. Small Miracles also partners with multiple colleges and universities providing Service Learning hours, Internships, and Post Graduate experiences.
If you are desiring to know, learn more about equine care and Therapy Horses please join Small Miracles Barn Team! We have wonderful, truly amazing horses and ponies providing the Miracle Muscles for our Students. If you are experienced with horses, we need you to.
Are you retired wanting to serve the community? Many opportunities are available for you through out the day, if you are new to the area, what a great way to meet new people!

Programs:
Therapeutic Horsemanship
TR Activities are designed to enhance the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of individuals with special needs through both mounted and unmounted Trauma-Informed Care equine assisted activities and therapies.
Equine Assisted Personal Development
EAPD - These are programs that enhance the developmental, educational, life skills of the participants, utilizing experiential unmounted equine assisted activities to engage the students.
Positive Youth Development
PYD - Developed to enhance the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children and youth at risk of not succeeding in the traditional educational system.
Horses Empower Heroes
HEH -It's mission is to enhance the lives of veterans and military families through experiential equine assisted activities and therapies.
