Mission Statement

Through our interfaith service to families, the elderly, the homeless and others in need, the Shepherd Center instills hope, feeds the hungry, clothes the poor, empowers to succeed, and provides outreach support.

Description

The Tarpon Springs Shepherd Center operates a food pantry; partners with community kitchens to provide hot meals to the homeless and low income individuals and families; and provides clothing to qualified clients. Advice and referral services are provided to those who need one-on-one attention. We work with clients to coordinate solutions to their needs ranging from medical, employment, temporary/permanent lodging, to transportation, etc. Client registration is requred.

The Shepherd Center operates a thrift store which carries a wide assortment of items from ties to tables and beds to buttons - all at bargain prices. We accept donations of items in good condition and have a pick up service. All proceeds directly apply to the services we provide.
