Do you have a passion for planning meaningful events and a heart for helping prevent child abuse?
Home Start,Inc, a local non-profit that has been strengthening families and protecting children in San Diego for the past 45 years, is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to join our volunteer Events Planning Committee.
Our committee meets one to two times per month for one to two hours throughout the year to assist staff in planning Home Start’s two annual fundraising events:
Hallo-Wine and the Blue Ribbon Gala.
Hallo-Wine is a wine, beer, and food festival held each fall in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Blue Ribbon Gala is held each April in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention month.
