Art Works for Change is a nonprofit organization that creates contemporary art exhibitions to address critical social and environmental issues.
We recently launched a new online exhibition platform to broaden our reach. The current exhibition explores humanity’s ecological footprint and the consequences of overshooting the natural resources that Earth can supply and regenerate. We are seeking to promote our exhibition through traditional and digital channels and to spark interest in our exhibitions and projects through an ongoing PR effort.
We are looking for a PR volunteer or team to help us promote our online exhibitions and leverage our partnerships with leading environmental organizations. Your role would include the following:
Attract media coverage and visitor traffic to the online exhibition pages
Leverage all distribution channels and content to maximize the visibility of the exhibition, including distribution channels and content of our amazing partner organizations (Earth Day Network, NRDC, Global Footprint Network, World Wildlife Fund and Oceana)
Plus, you will get to join a fun, passionate team, working for an important cause--and build your own skills and network in the process. Remote volunteers are happily accepted.
