We are seeking a volunteer for our audiology clinic, who will assist our Audiology team. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: test assisting with our newborn hearing screening team, filing, copying, and scanning documents for our clinic. We are seeking someone who can comfortably commit for 3-6 hours a week for a minimum of 4 months.

An ideal volunteer would be someone who:

  • is bilingual in English and Spanish
  • desires work experience within health care services, audiology clinics and/or office space
  • familiarity with computers and efficient working attitude
  • is interested in becoming an audiologist, language pathologist, or clinical assistant
We have two clinics, one in Berkeley, and the other in Oakland. A volunteer ideally could work consistently in one/each location.

Description

Our organization provides a variety of programs to communities. We offer Deaf and Hard of Hearing classes, a community daycare preschool program, and also run a successful audiology, development and volunteer program.
