PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To instruct American Red Cross classes (e.g., CPR/FA/AED, Babysitting) to community groups at the American Red Cross building and/or at community or corporate sites

OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible schedule available. Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends (Chapter may want to determine a minimal amount of courses or hours taught by each individual volunteer)

REQUIRED TRAINING

Upon completion of this training, the volunteer's positon will change to \"PHSS Volunteer Instructor\" (if they are teaching directly for the Red Cross), or \"PHSS AP Volunteer Instructor\" (if they are teaching Red Cross classes as an Authorized Provider).

•⦆ Certification in the PHSS discipline the Volunteer wishes to teach
•⦆ American Red Cross Instructor Course for applicable PHSS class (e.g., Babysitting, CPR/First Aid/AED)
•⦆ Observation
•⦆ Co-Teaching training (On-the-Job training)
