PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Help adults and children cope with the emotional and environmental impact following a disaster. This includes supporting all Red Cross workers (paid and volunteer) and all of our partners.

OPEN TIME DAYS

Varies with volunteer’s interest and availability from a few hours (local service) to several weeks (service outside home chapter)

REQUIRED TRAINING

Orientation to American Red Cross

  • Completion of Red Cross training in disaster mental health.
