Are you interested in being a lifesaving difference for outdoor cats? Outdoor cat colonies can be spotted all around the valley, ADLA, through our Spay/Neuter hotline, works with community residents to trap-neuter-return (TNR) these cats to decrease future litters and to help end the pet overpopulation crisis.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with TNR (trap-neuter-release) initiatives in the valley. Volunteers are needed to assist residents who are not physically able or have very large colonies and need help performing the actual trapping of the cats. This position is great for those wanting to make a real impact in their community and cat homelessness.
Not an experienced trapper? No problem, we'll train you on all you need to know!
Shift times can be created around your schedule, positions are generally flexible. Your commitment as a volunteer greatly affects the lives of these outdoor cats and our communities. Become a CATalyst for change today!

Description
ADLA is currently focusing time and energy on outdoor, free roaming cats and has implemented The Spay Neuter Hotline to facilitate this. The Spay Neuter Hotline’s Trap Neuter Return Program offers the only viable solution to the exponential reproduction of cats on the streets of Maricopa County. Spaying 15,000 cats per year and over 75, 000 cats since 2009, the Spay Neuter Hotline’s TNR Program brings together an amazing group of volunteers and veterinarians who help neighborhoods stop the birth of homeless kittens by trapping and sterilizing cats and returning them to live-out their lives in the colonies where they were trapped.
