Cadence Hospice is looking for certified pet therapy animals and their owners to help bring peace and comfort to our lovely hospice patients in Orange County.

We love dogs and know that our patient's do too, so if you are interested in joning our Volunteer Program/Team as a certified pet therapy volunteer, please conact us, we would love to hear from you!

Description

Sonata Hospice Volunteers are trained to meet the needs of families and patients by providing companionship and short-term respite care. These volunteers are hand-selected and trained. Following reference and background checks, these individuals complete extensive training prior to working with patients. Volunteers make things easier by offering caregiver relief’, companionship, sharing of special interests, letter writing, reading to the patient or help with errands. We are always looking for quality volunteers. Please contact us to learn more about how you can help bring comfort to those in need.
