East County Volunteer Drivers Sought

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: RSVP of Snohomish County

  • 4 people are interested

We are looking for people who live in Monroe, Sultan or Gold Bar to be volunteer drivers for veterans and/or elderly and disabled clients. The clients don't have personal transportation and taking a bus or a taxi to a doctor appointment is not a practical option.

The clients can get in and out of the car on their own. You pick them up, transport them and depending on the length of the appointment, either wait or come back to take them home.

You drive as much or as little as you like. You select the rides you are willing to provide. You choose where you are willing to go.

Mileage reimbursment is provided. There is a training and orientation session you must attend.

Your vehicle must have working lights, horn and brakes and be insured.
