Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy

Sidewalker: This volunteer is a minimum of 14 years old. Sidewalkers help with arena set up and tear down for sessions and walk next to the rider and assist the rider with balance and exercises. This person must be able to comfortably walk and jog next to a horse while supporting a participant.

Days and times that sessions are conducted:
Monday-Thursday and Sunday early afternoon through early evenings.
Volunteers typically work a 2-3 hour shift on their day, NOT the entire duration of sessions.
