Our Talented Team of Chefs at Regional Hospice and Palliative Care's Center for Comfort Care and Healing are looking volunteers to help in the kitchen.
Our trademark cookies are in high demand! At 3pm daily, our Chefs put out "high tea" of cookies, brownies and other sweets to the delight of patients, visitors, volunteers and staff! We are also bringing more of our cookies out to our home hospice patients, families and supporters.
We are looking for a kitchen volunteer with experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a baking role. Must be self-motivated, friendly, fun and willing to bake in large quantities. Bringing your own recipes is encouraged!
All volunteers must be willing to commit to helping in the kitchen on a regular basis (e.g., 1x/week).
Applicants should fill out an application at: regionalhospicect.org/volunteer
All volunteers must submit three references, complete a background check, and pass a health screening. Must be comfortable working in a hospice setting with terminally ill patients and their families.
