Volunteers will be needed both at stations working with students and at concession and shop areas working with goods and money. Stations may include dancing, make and take areas, historical characters (we will provide scripts), and craft areas such as candle dipping, weaving, spinning, blacksmithing, quill pen writing, tin punching, cooking, and more. We can train you!

Mission Statement
The EarlyWorks Museum's vision is to be a warm, welcoming, innovative, imaginative, child-centered hands-on learning environment that supports discovery. We promote children's creative learning that ignites curiosity for educational development for all ages.
Description
Nonprofit with a mission of hands-on exploration of history and science for the children of North Alabama. Volunteer opportunities include special events such as Tinkerfest, Halloween Bash and Nights of Santa, as well as regular museum operations.
EarlyWorks Children's Museum is designed for children as a hands-on, interactive history and science museum. Go ahead - touch, climb, pull, explore! Children between the ages of 2 and 9 will have the most fun at the museum. Toddlers enjoy Biscuit's Backyard, a touch-and-learn area designated for preschoolers. Even older children can have fun, especially if a younger sibling is along.
We believe that volunteers are a vital resource for EarlyWorks. Volunteers enrich the visitor experience and support the efforts of the EarlyWorks museums and the mission of the organization. The EarlyWorks Family of Museums actively supports, nurtures, and welcomes volunteers. We strive to make volunteer duties enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding.
All volunteer activities are organized via POINT, a volunteer management platform. For more information or to register, please visit https://pointapp.org/orgs/2051.
