The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International needs YOU!
This is a community event/fundrasier for The Arc of Schuyler. Participants run or walk the 3.4 mile Watkins Glen Intenational road course. Not everyone is a runner but you can still Take on the Track at The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International and help support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
COURSE MARSHALL: Provide assistance on the race course with directing runners, cleanup, handing out water, etc.
PARKING DIRECTOR: Direct participants in parking area.
REGISTRATION/PACKET PICKUP: Register runners and walkers or hand out packets/bibs.
RUNNER'S TENT: Greet participants, provide direction, answer questions, and help with refreshments.
PACKET ASSEMBLY: Needed about 1 week prior to event day. Help assemble participant packets.
Volunteers who register by March 11 will receive a long-sleeve shirt! Please fill out a volunteer application at www.arcgrandprixrun.org.

The Arc of Schuyler County is committed to securing for all people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to chose and realize their goals of where and how they lear, live, work and play. This is accomplished by creating an environment of independence, productivity and integration through individualized services.
Description
The Arc of Schuyler provides residential and day program supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Vocational and community integration supports are also a part of what is provided. Transportation, family support, and service coordination are also provided. The population supported ranges in age from infants to seniors.
The Arc also operates a gallery, The Franklin St Gallery and Gift Shop, which displays and sells the work of regional artists, including artists with disabilities.
