The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to end cancer . Funds raised through the events enable the Society to help people facing the disease today, educate people about how to reduce their risk for cancer or detect it early when it’s the easiest to treat, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations.
But our work is not done. We need people like you to join the Relay For Life movement and help multiply our efforts to eliminate cancer as a public health problem.
By becoming a Relay For Life Event Leadership Team volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the fight against cancer, gain valuable leadership skills, and receive the honor and satisfaction of helping others in your community enjoy a memorable experience.
Volunteers are also needed on the day of our Relay For Life event (Friday, June 2 - Saturday, June 3) to assist with set up, manning specific tables (orientation provided), assisting with games and activities during the event, and assisting with packing up and cleaning up supplies at the end of the event.
