Explore the power of imagination with young learners! Under the guidance of our experienced staff, you’ll work with typical and special needs children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old on activities that integrate the imagination into various aspects of learning. Through this program you’ll travel through the unpredictable adventures in literature, provide important enrichment opportunities through art projects, and conquer the uncharted terrains of the playground. Fraser School Classroom Volunteers encourage learning and give valuable individual attention and encouragement to students.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and available during Fraser School business hours (Monday through Friday 7am-6pm). Volunteers are asked to commit to volunteering for at least 3 months.
We are specifically looking for volunteers for the 3:30-5:30pm shift. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete our application found on our website www.fraser.org/Volunteer

Fraser's mission is to serve children, adults, and families with special needs to assist them in maximizing their abilities and realizing their potentials.
Description
Fraser provides services to children and adults with special needs through three programs: Fraser School, Fraser Child & Family Center, and Fraser Residential Services. We provide early childhood education, child care, therapy, diagnostic evaluations, day treatment, respite care, counseling, personal care assistant services, Family Focus, residential services, and parent education, training and support. We serve more than 2,000 families and employ over 500 people. We operate using less than 11 percent of our monies for administrative expenses. Eighty-nine percent (89%) of our budget goes directly to our many programs.
