The Durham Rescue Mission is looking for volunteers to help with our Annual Community Easter Dinner and Basket Giveaway on Good Friday, April 19, 2019. Volunteers can choose a 2 hour shift, beginning at 7am until 3pm (7am-9am, 9am-11am, 11am-1pm or 1pm-3pm). Opportunities include preparing food and grocery bags, hanging clothes, serving meals, waiting tables, playing carnival games with children, and handing out Easter baskets. Groups are limited to 20 volunteers. Once you have conducted a sign-up and you have confirmed volunteer names, please call 919-688-9641 ext.5025 and speak with a Volunteer Assistant to arrange a shift.

Gospel Rescue Mission providing the homeless and needy with food, shelter, clothing, Biblical counsel, medical assistance, educational and vocational help. We have 5 Locations: Men's Division, Women's Division (Good Samaritan Inn), Thrift Store on Hwy 55, Thrift Store on Glenwood Avenue, and Thrift Store on Chapel Hill Blvd.
