Can't commit to a weekly volunteer gig but still want to help rescued cats have a better life? Become a Sanctuary Scrub Down Specialist! With approximately 55 felines in our Sanctuary, a regular deep cleaning is important to the health and wellbeing of our kitties. Once a month we give the Sanctuary a deep cleaning from top to bottom. Responsibilities vary but may include: removing fur from cat furniture, sanitizing water and food bowls, washing walls and floors, cleaning cat cubbies and shelves, replacing linens, and sanitizing litter boxes.

Our Scrub Down sessions are held on a Saturday of every month in the morning. Please check the calendar on our website for specific dates and times.

While dedicated to providing a lifetime of health, safety, and happiness to cats living in our sanctuary, we also strive to find solutions for at-risk cats we cannot take in due to limited space.

We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 organization, so 100% of all donations go to the cats. Save the Cats Arizona’s tax identification number (EIN) is 20-5164793.
