ORGANIZATION: A Free Bird

  • 1 person is interested

A Free Bird is a 501(C)(3)non-profit organization based in New York City. Our focus is to provide children, ages 4-18 who are patients or survivors of juvenile cancer, the opportunity to explore their artistic passions and give them the strength to fight their disease. We believe that artistic expression is critical for healing! A Free Bird supports children affected by cancer in their exploration of art, music, acting, poetry, writing, singing and any other artistic passion they may have.

A Free Bird is currently looking for a volunteer make-up artist to work on 2 individuals for 1 day a week, while we film out our weekly/biweekly show. This opportunity is roughly 2-3 hours of your time and you will receive credit for your work. This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio while helping an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children affected by cancer through therapeutic forms of the arts.

Please send a link to your portfolio or website to internships@afreebird.org for review.
