SourcePoint is seeking volunteers interested in becoming OSHIIP (Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program) certified to guide seniors through the ins and outs of Medicare. Complete a twenty-hour, self‑paced, on-line class, plus one-on-one shadowing with our insurance specialist, in preparation for leading two-hour Power Point presentations to classes of 18-20 seniors. Volunteers are expected to lead or co‑lead one class a month. Possession of an active insurance license or having an affiliation with an insurance company is disqualifying. No prior Medicare knowledge needed, just a love of helping others.
OSHIIP class leaders find it very fulfilling to know that in the span of two hours they made an impact on twenty lives!

SourcePoint is your primary source of professional expertise, services, and programs for Delaware County adults who want to thrive after 55. We can point you in the right direction by providing direct assistance as well as referrals.
We provide community support with in-home care services such as Meals On Wheels, help with chores, and transportation to medical appointments, as well as resources and support for family caregivers.
We are also your source for both fun and fitness -- our 44,000-square-foot enrichment center hosts a wide variety of programs and trips.
