ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley

Add the finishing touches to the Westin Kierland Grand Ballroom in final preparation for our signature gala "Today's Kids, Tomorrow's Stars" on Sat. March 17th. All gala proceeds benefit the 22,000+ kids served by Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix - a 4 star rated nonprofit by Charity Navigator.

TEENS 14-17 yrs welcome with an adult family member who is at least 21 yrs.

Event STARS volunteers:

  • Assemble centerpieces - no special skills needed! Guided instruction provided.
  • Place centerpieces on guest tables.

This opportunity may end early - we work until the centerpieces are complete.

Description

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) provides premier out-of-school-time programs for youth to develop their skills and resilience to successfully navigate childhood, and prepare for adulthood. We offer affordable after-school and summer programs for 16,000 young people in grades K-12. At 31 clubs across Maricopa County, areas of Pinal County, and Yuma, BGCAZ provides award-winning programs designed to change the lives of young people in four key areas: Academic Success, Character & Leadership Development, Healthy Living, and career readiness.
