Joyful

We are looking for volunteers with all availability, especially weekday mornings and afternoons to assist our therapeutic riding students during their lessons as well as for volunteers to assist with horse and barn care. We are experiencing tremendous growth in our programming and most of our students cannot ride without the assistance of volunteers.

We train you to side walk (assist the rider) during the lesson, depending on your area of interest. No previous horse experience required, we offer monthly continuing education training for those who want to work more closely with the horses.

There are always many ways to get involved at Strongwater including but not limited to: therapeutic lesson volunteer, barn care, horse care, grounds/landscaping and special events.

Intern positions are also available.
