Women helping women! We have various opportunities available during the work week (closed on weekends):
Personal Shopper
Dress for Success volunteers serve as personal shoppers and provide clients with career attire, cosmetics, footwear, accessories and--most importantly--a self-confidence boost.
Clothing Merchandiser
Sort and organize donations for interviews and employment.
Data Input
Input detailed personal information from referral forms into a program. Training will be provided.
Job Readiness Training
Job coaches needed! Our JR training helps unemployed, under-employed and hard to employ women gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions. Volunteers assist women with career paths, resumes and interviewing skills. Human Resources experience preferred.

Description
The mission of Dress for Success Honolulu at the YWCA of O’ahu is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Honolulu serves clients by referral from partner organizations, government agencies and non-profits, that specialize in training programs or who serve women who are homeless, domestic violence survivors, or those who are re-entering the community from treatment or incarceration. We have been serving the women of Honolulu since 2002 and have provided more than 4,000 suitings since its inception.
