Build A Better Planet needs SEVERAL volunteers. We are a non-profit organization promoting sustainability/environmentalism through our media programs. We produce radio programs in English and Spanish, covering a wide variety of green topics, including green jobs, health and wellness, nutrition, and promoting independent journalism and music. We have mentorship and internship programs for students nationwide! Also, as of this year, we provide scholarships for college students.
At present, we need volunteers on an ongoing basis for: administrative assitance, community outreach (either online or at events), writers, bloggers, social media experts, and fundraising. We, also, need volunteers for specific events, such as our 5K run in Brooklyn and our Sustainable Saturday fashion show around Earth Day.
