Summary: serves primarily to assist Maintenance Manager in projects on the steamboat. Boat systems to be maintained include: port/starboard side curtains; bow deck/upper deck tarps; above-water painted areas; ramp and dock; electrical system/backup battery system; storage sheds, access path. Eventual promotion to Maintenance Manager. Availability: March through October each year. Busy season is March-April. Weekday and weekend hours. Responsibilities: Provides responsive assistance to the Maintenance Manager to support the timely completion of steamboat maintenance projects. Provides assistance in the broad maintenance/construction field using ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in working to complete projects at minimal cost Assists in maintenance of steamboat facilities (storage sheds, access path) to ensure general safety, accident avoidance, and the highest-quality facility image
