ORGANIZATION: Pathways To Compassion Hospice

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
We Honor Veterans Program

Pathways to Compassion Hospice is a member of the We Honor Veteran's Campaign. Our hospice care team of professionals and volunteers strive to ensure that our veteran patients recieve special recognition and gratitude for their service to our country. We are looking for volunteers with former or current military experience to serve as volunteers for our very important veteran patients. As a part of honoring our veterans, we conduct a special individualized pinning ceremony. We present the veteran with a pin and a certificate from the Nebraska Hospice Veteran Partnership. We would like military volunteers to assist in these ceremonies as a veteran-to-veteran volunteer for patients receiving end-of-life care. Training and supervision is provided.

Mission Statement

Pathways to Compassion Hospice has defined as its mission to affirm life during its final stages by providing holistic compassionate care to patients and their families; by providing access to hospice care for underserved or difficult to serve populations; by wise and efficient use of available resources, and by educating the community in order to provide them with knowledge regarding end-of-life and hospice care around quality of life.
