About

This is an opportunity in Rock Hill, SC. The Children's Attention Home is a residential program that serves children ages birth through 21 who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Our organization sustains its mission through the commitment of our volunteers and we certainly can't do what we do without them.

We currently sponsor two fundraisers per year in which we rely heavily upon volunteers:

1) Heart of the Home Annual Benefit Luncheon (Spring) formerly Under the Rainbow

2) Deep in the Heart (Fall)

Our agency will begin planning for our Fall Fundraiser, Deep in the Heart, in April of 2017. We will need volunteers/volunteer leaders to serve on the following teams:

Sponsorship Team-The sponsorship team is responsible for working with the Community Resource Director to identify, solicit, and produce sponsors for the event.

Marketing & Promotion Team-The Marketing & Promotions Team is responsible for working with the Community Resource Director to identify (FREE!!) opportunities to advertise this event to the public or groups. Members of this team will also be responsible for assisting with selling tickets to the event.

Logistics Team- The Logistics Volunteer Leader is responsible for working with the Volunteer Coordinator & Team Members to determine theme appropriate decor, supplies, and equipment needed for the event. The Logistics Team is also responsible for event set up to include event signage, auction room, main room, food service, and activity set up.

Raffle & Silent Auction Team- The Raffle & Silent Auction Team is responsible for working with the Community Resource Director and Team Members to identify, solicit, and produce donations for the Raffle & Auction in addition to coordinating raffle room displays, layout, and set up of the raffle room on the day of the event.

Food Service Team-The Food Service Team is responsible for working with the CRD & VC to ensure a solid menu as well as the acquisition of supplies and equipment for event day. Food Service Team Members are responsible for assisting the caterer with the set up and service of the buffet line.

Bar Attendant Team-The Bar Attendant Team is responsible for working with the CRD & VC to ensure a solid bar set up as well as the acquisition, pick up, and transport of supplies and equipment for event day.
