When you give us the precious gift of your time and interest, we give you a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life. We train you, find you the right assignment and stand behind you as you grow.

Patient Volunteer

· Part of a Patient’s Care Team. You will make weekly visits to offer companionship for Patients. Examples of Patient care Volunteer opportunities include reading to the Patient, assisting with a hobby, conversation, listening to music or even watching a TV show together.

· Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to enter facilities & visit your Hospice Patient.

· Volunteers are matched with 1 Patient at a time to someone within a 15-minute radius to where you live.

Requirements:

- Must be able to commit to Volunteer for one year @ 1 x per week for up to 1 hour minimum.

- No resume needed but an excellent skill and resume builder.

- Volunteer Coordinator always goes along with you on your 1 st Patient visit.
